Walls Earns Regents Scholarship to UMBC
James Walls, a graduate of College of Southern Maryland, has been named a Gross Regents Scholar, earning a scholarship to attend the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Walls is a 21-year-old Hughesville resident.
Document Shredding Offered at Landfill
The St. Mary’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation will host its second annual community document shredding event at the St. Andrew’s Landfill on St. Andrew’s Church Road from 8 am to noon Saturday, Aug. 20.
