Jazz Concert: ‘Happening Now’ May 12
Jazz One, “Happening Now” is the latest installment of the College of Southern Maryland Ward Virts Concert Series. The free concert is set for 3 pm May 12 at the CSM Prince Frederick Campus in Building B.
Public Piano Sale Set March 17 at CSM
The College of Southern Maryland receives an annual loan of new Kawai pianos for its education, practice, and performance needs. To support the loan program, these and other fine pianos are periodically offered for sale and Kawai replaces them with new ones. CSM will host a public piano sale from noon to 5 pm Sunday, March 17, 2019, at the La Plata Campus.
Ward Virts Series Starts Up New Season
The College of Southern Maryland will host a 60th Anniversary Concert at 3 pm Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, as part of the CSM Ward Virts Concert Series.
Zwerdling to Perform at Ward Virts Concert
Baritone Antony Zwerdling and pianist Stephen Johnson will perform at 3 pm May 13 as part of the Inaugural Festivities for CSM President Dr. Maureen Murphy. The concert will be held at the College of Southern Maryland’s Prince Frederick Campus. Both men are CSM music faculty members.

Concert Features Latin American Music
The musical styles of Latin America will be featured in a concert Friday, April 27, 2018, at the College of Southern Maryland’s Prince Frederick Campus.
Earn College Credit at Summer Academy
With programs such as Robotics, American Music, Personal Finance, Cybersecurity, and Environmental Science, the College of Southern Maryland’s Summer Scholars Academy will give high school students the opportunity to take an in-depth look at an area of interest while earning college credit.

Ward Virts Series Features 6 Concerts
Classical pianist Brian Ganz will be the featured performer in the first concert of the 2017-18 College of Southern Maryland Ward Virts Concert Series on Oct. 8. The free concert series will be presented at CSM’s Prince Frederick Campus.
Jazz Quartet Kicks Off Recital Series
The Bruce Swaim Jazz Quartet will kick off the Benny C. Morgan Recital Series at 3 pm Oct. 7 at the College of Southern Maryland Leonardtown Campus.
