TPP Establishes CSM Pathways Scholarship

The group recently presented $10,000 to the CSM Foundation to establish a TPP Pathways Scholarship Fund for students who are interested in pursuing a career in cybersecurity or science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.

College Opens Fitness, Nature Trail in Leonardtown

College of Southern Maryland has opened a renovated Fitness and Nature Trail on its Leonardtown Campus. Open to the community, the trail is intended for recreational and educational use.

CSM Service Awards Recognize Faculty

College of Southern Maryland recognized 83 employees who have reached significant milestones in their years of service during the annual CSM Service Awards on March 16. Two of the employees reached 30 years and five marked 25; altogether, the ceremony awarded 1,035 years of service.

The College of Southern Maryland’s Adult Education Program recognized 26 students Nov. 2 who earned their high school diplomas through the program.

CSM, Harry Lundeberg School Work Together

Through a partnership with the Seafarers Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship in Piney Point, the College of Southern Maryland has established a new associate degree in maritime operations technology. Representatives from both schools signed a memorandum of understanding on June 5.
