Dominion Energy’s 2.6-gigawatt Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind farm will be the largest offshore wind farm in the US consisting of 176 wind turbines to be constructed 27 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach.

The Maryland Public Service Commission is reopening discussion about a wind turbine project in the Atlantic off the shores of Ocean City after developers of the project say they want to build the turbines more than 200 feet taller that originally proposed.
