The Navy says it will re-establishment the US Second Fleet which will be responsible for naval forces along the East Coast and in the northern Atlantic Ocean.

The Navy’s newest attack submarine, the USS Colorado, joined the fleet in a recent ceremony at Connecticut’s Naval Submarine Base. Navy Secretary Richard Spencer calls the submarine a “marvel of technology and innovation.”

President Donald Trump’s Veterans Day military parade will include wheeled military vehicles, but no tanks. This is to prevent “damage to local infrastructure,” the Pentagon says. The parade will, however, include a “heavy air component” at the end.

Nothing’s final and none of the $10 million to $30 million necessary has been located, but tentatively President Donald Trump’s military parade is scheduled for Veterans Day in Washington, DC.

RADM Gordon Peters will be the new boss of Naval Air Systems Command. He replaces VADM Paul Grosklags as the top officer at NAVAIR. Also at NAVAIR, RADM Brian Corey will replace RADM Mark Darrah as the program executive officer for unmanned aviation and strike weapons.
