Expect Rt. 235 Delays in Lex Park Aug. 11-14
The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will temporarily close left turn lanes at three northbound MD 235 (Three Notch Road) intersections next week in Lexington Park: Old Rolling Road / Shady Mile Drive; MacArthur Boulevard / Millstone Landing Road; and Pegg Road / Buse Road.

Historically Speaking Topic: Negotiating Changing Chesapeake Identities
Historically Speaking will welcome Valerie Hall and her presentation on Maryland’s indigenous population, especially Indian women, who transformed Early British American society during the 17th century. Ms. Hall will speak from 7 to 9pm Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in Leonardtown.
Second Saturday Museum Activities

Farm to Table Events Set in Lex Park
The annual Farmers Feeding St. Mary’s program will offer farm fresh produce free to the community. There will be two food distribution dates and locations.
