County Museums’ Winter Hours of Operation
The St. Clement’s Island Museum in Colton’s Point, the Old Jail Museum & Visitor Center in Leonardtown, and the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum in Piney Point will continue to be open daily from 10am to 5pm, except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day when they are closed.

“The Haunting at Piney Point: A Family Friendly Halloween Experience” will be presented October 27 and 28 from 5 to 9pm at Piney Point Lighthouse Museum & Historic Park.
Closings for Labor Day Holiday
All St. Mary’s County government administrative offices will be closed Monday, September 4, 2023, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Offices will resume normal operating schedules Tuesday, September 5.
