Lexington Park Robberies Prompt Community Meeting


Lexington Park’s COPs Unit will hold a community meeting Nov. 21 from 5 to 9 pm at the Bay District firehouse for businesses and residents in response to recent robberies in the area.

TPP Quadcopter Initiative Starts in November


The Patuxent Partnership has initiated a UAS/Quadcopter Initiative in St. Mary’s County for high school students, using a STEM-for-All grant from the Office of Naval Research. The initiative will provide information and resources for students who have created Quadcopter teams.

12th Annual Defense Forum Planned

The Patuxent Partnership and the Center for the Study of Democracy at St. Mary’s College of Maryland are coming together to present the 12th annual Patuxent Defense Forum from 8:30 a.m. to 5 pm Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017. The theme this year is “The Arctic Domain: From Economics to National Security.” Check-in and coffee will open at 8:15 am.
