For a limited time only, there will be FREE physical activity classes offered for pregnant and postpartum women. Three local organizations are offering free exercise programs:, Peaktop Wellness; Willows Recreation Center, and The Synthesis Center of St. Mary’s at the Real Food Studio.

Southhampton Slated for New Roads, Water & Sewer

St. Mary’s County and the Metropolitan Commission will be displaying their plans Sept. 29, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm, for a revitalization project in Lexington Park’s Southhampton Neighborhood, across Rt 235 from Pax River. The project includes reconstruction of roads, sidewalks, driveway aprons, storm drainage system, new stormwater management facilities, and improvements to the public water and sewer systems.

Legislative Proposals Sought from Citizens

The Commissioners of St. Mary’s County will hold a joint meeting with members of the St. Mary’s County Legislative Delegation on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 6 pm to present their legislative requests during the 2023 Maryland General Assembly and also hear proposals for legislation sought by organizations and citizens.
