Piney Point Lighthouse Museum in Piney Point has reopened its galleries, including a variety of new exhibits, to visitors with pre-purchased tickets. The museum has been closed since March due to COVID-19 shutdowns.

The St. Mary’s County Health Department will host a three-part webinar series to explore health equity, health disparities, and ways that community can make an impact. Health Officer Dr. Meenakshi Brewster will moderate the sessions.

St. Mary’s Library Temporarily Reduces Services

St. Mary’s County Library reduces services due to COVID-19. Curbside will continue as it has been operating. Buildings will be closed to the public starting Friday, November 13. Plans to open the Library buildings by appointment only for computer, copier, or fax machine use will start Monday, November 16.

The St. Mary’s County Health Department will offer free flu vaccines to children ages 3 to 18 at its SMCHD COVID-19 testing sites.

The St. Mary’s County Health Department will offer expanded COVID-19 testing hours from 8 am to 7 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays during October at the Harm Reduction Program Office in Lexington Park.
