When representatives of Patuxent Habitat for Humanity found out that U.S. Navy Veteran Pamela Kunieki was struggling with breathing problems and her home needed some updates, they went into action and offered Help from Habitat.

The bells at St. Clement’s Island and Piney Point Lighthouse museums will participate in a nationwide bell-ringing commemoration at 3 pm Aug. 25, 2019, at to honor those who were among the first enslaved Africans to arrive in the English colonies in the New World 400 years ago.
