GM Pool Offers Water Fitness Classes
The Great Mills swimming pool offers a variety of water fitness classes for all ages. Pay per class or get a season pass.
GM Pool to Close for Maintenance, Then Reopen Sept. 27
The Great Mills swimming pool will be temporarily closed from September 18-26 for reassembly of the bubble enclosure and completion of bi-annual maintenance. The pool will re-open as an indoor pool September 27, 2025.
St. Mary’s Govt. Labor Day Operations
All St. Mary’s County government administrative offices will be closed Monday, September 1, 2025, in observance of Labor Day. Offices will resume normal operating schedules September 2.
County Govt. Memorial Day Operations
All St. Mary’s County government administrative offices will be closed Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Some Recreation & Parks facilities will be open.
Great Mills Pool Now Open
The Great Mills pool will re-open as an outdoor pool on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Join the fun at the Splash Bash Pool Party from 1 to 4pm May 25.
Closings for Labor Day Holiday
All St. Mary’s County government administrative offices will be closed Monday, September 2, 2024, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Offices will resume normal operating schedules September 3.
County Govt. Juneteenth Schedule
All St. Mary’s County government administrative offices will be closed Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
Great Mills Pool to Open May 25
The Great Mills swimming pool will open Saturday, May 25, 2024. A Splash Bash Pool Party will be held May 26.

St. Mary’s County government administrative offices will be closed Monday, June 19, 2023, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.
