Closings for Labor Day Holiday
All St. Mary’s County government administrative offices will be closed Monday, September 2, 2024, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Offices will resume normal operating schedules September 3.

Great Mills Pool to Open May 25
The Great Mills swimming pool will open Saturday, May 25, 2024. A Splash Bash Pool Party will be held May 26.

Great Mills Pool to Close for Bubble Installation
The Great Mills pool will close from September 9-15 for the installation of its inflatable dome structure to transform it into an indoor swimming facility. The fun resumes on September 16.
New Operating Hours at Great Mills Pool
The Great Mills Pool will adjust its weekday operating hours, beginning Monday, August 30, 2021. Normal weekend hours will continue.
Pool Party Ushers in Summer Season
Come to the Great Mills pool this weekend, May 29-31, to celebrate its summer opening. There will be open swim all three days from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and 3 to 6 pm.
GM Pool to Close Temporarily for Maintenance
The Great Mills pool will be closed for seasonal maintenance and to replace the dome structure to convert from the outdoor to the indoor pool from September 20-25, 2020.
CANCELED: YMCA Exploratory Committee to Meet June 3
The St. Mary’s County YMCA Exploratory Committee will hold a rescheduled meeting via teleconference at 6 pm Wednesday, June 3.
