Legislative Proposals Sought From Residents
The St. Mary’s County commissioners will hold a meeting with members of the county’s legislative delegation at 6 pm Tuesday, October 5, 2021, to hear legislative proposals from organizations and citizens.
Legislative Proposals Must Be Submitted by Sept. 4
Organizations and citizens who have proposals for legislation must submit them to the St. Mary’s County commissioners by Thursday, Sept. 4.
Students Lobby Legislators on Education Issues
College of Southern Maryland students traveled to Annapolis on Feb. 8 to meet with their state legislators. The visit to the state capital was part of Student Advocacy Day, an annual event sponsored by the Maryland Association of Community Colleges.
