Rotary Donates $10,000 to St. Mary’s Caring
The St. Mary’s Caring soup kitchen has received a $10,000 grant to support the purchase of equipment for the organization’s new building in Great Mills.

Commission to Honor Voorhaar, Millen
Donna Marie Voorhaar is this year’s Ruth Bader Ginsberg Lifetime Achievement Award winner, the St. Mary’s County Commission for Women announced. Kristine Millen and volunteers at St. Mary’s Caring will receive the Hometown Shero Award.
Donations Sought for Soup Kitchen
St. Mary’s Caring Soup Kitchen in Lexington Park is seeking donations. Among the items needed are nonperishable goods and fresh fruit for bagged lunches and food boxes for families.
