SMECO to Compete in Lineman Rodeo

SMECO Scholarship Application Deadline April 1
Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative will award four $2,500 scholarships to local high school students who excel in their endeavors and show promise in their chosen field of study. Students have until April 1, 2025, to apply.
SMECO Sponsors Student Math Contest
The regional MATHCOUNTS competition marked its 31st anniversary earlier this month. More than 150 students from 18 schools gathered to test their math skills at the event sponsored by Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative and the Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s public school systems.
