Free Back-to-School Vaccine Clinics
Free back-to-school vaccination clinics will be held at the county’s two school-based health centers for children, birth to age 18, living in St. Mary’s County.
Program Offers Laptops for Eligible Residents
In an effort to advance equal access to technology for St. Mary’s residents, county government will distribute 4,500 HP Chromebooks for free, while supplies last, to local households with an income at or below the national poverty level. Four distribution dates are planned at the Lexington Park Library. Check to see if you qualify.
Baby Shower to Celebrate Expecting Parents
Expecting parents in St. Mary’s County are invited to a free Community Baby Shower at the Spring Ridge Middle school-based health center from 9am to noon Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Health Dept. Honors Gold Star Food Safety Winners
The St. Mary’s County Health Department announced 107 recipients of the 2022 Gold Star Awards given annually to food service facilities that achieve superior food safety standards.
Rotary Club Supports Crisis Hotline
The Rotary Club of Charlotte Hall and Community Bank of the Chesapeake have awarded the St. Mary’s County Health Department a $10,000 grant to promote the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
