St. Mary’s County is working to provide assistance for residents who need transportation to their appointment at the health department’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Hollywood.

Lex Park COVID Testing Closed Temporarily

The St. Mary’s County Health Dept. has closed the walk up COVID-19 testing site currently located at the Harm Reduction Office in Lexington Park. This testing site is closed until further notice. Testing will continue to be offered at the SMCHD Main Office at 21580 Peabody St. in Leonardtown, MD.

Drug Drop-Off Initiative Protects Consumers

St. Mary’s County has made a drug drop-off available at all times to help dispose of prescription drugs.

Potassium Iodide Tablets Available Aug. 19

St. Mary’s County Health Department will distribute Potassium Iodide tablets to residents living or working within the 10 mile emergency protection zone (EPZ) of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant.

Drug Summit Planned for Parents in St. Mary’s
