Easter Egg Festival Set @ Fairgrounds Rain or Shine

The annual Easter Egg Festival will be held March 23 at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown. The rain-or-shine event will be held from 11:30am to 4pm.

Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors recently announced that James A. Richards has resigned his seat on the Board as of February 19, 2024. MATHCOUNTS Marks 30th Anniversary

Southern Maryland’s annual MATHCOUNTS competition, sponsored by Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative, marked its 30th anniversary on February 3. More than 150 students from 18 schools competed.
