Help Lex Park Library Feed Hungry Kids This Summer

The Lexington Park Library’s goal for summer 2026 is to provide hearty snacks for kids Monday through Friday at the library from June 15 through August 21. To achieve that goal, the library needs help from the community. Donations are being accepted.

Family Law Legal Clinics Will Provide Advice

The St. Mary’s County Circuit Court will offer free Family Law Self Help Legal Clinics to provide legal assistance/advice regarding family law at the Lexington Park Library.

Veterans Book Group to Meet April 4

A Veterans Book Group meets on the first Saturday of the month from 2 to 4pm at the Lexington Park Library. Vietnam veteran Wayne Karlin leads the book discussion series for vets. Registration required; space is limited.

Drop In & Play Chess at Lex Park Library

The Lexington Park Library will host an all-ages Chess Day from 2 to 4pm Saturday, February 14. Drop in and out to play as needed; no experience required.

St. Mary’s Warming Centers Jan. 23-27

Due to impactful winter weather in the forecast, St. Mary’s County government is announcing the availability of warming centers for the public from Friday, January 23, through Tuesday, January 27.

St. Mary’s County Library shared results from its 2025 Customer Satisfaction Survey. The results reflect high levels of community trust, satisfaction, and engagement. Comments and answers demonstrated that customers continue to view the library as an essential and well-loved public service.
