It’s time for citizens to clean out barns, basements, sheds, garages, storage areas under kitchen sinks, and properly discard potentially toxic/dangerous materials. St. Mary’s County residents wishing to safely dispose of household hazardous waste materials will once again have an opportunity to do so. The St. Andrew’s Landfill will host a hazardous waste collection Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

A full-cycle test of the alert and notification sirens throughout St. Mary’s, Calvert, and Dorchester counties will be conducted at noon Monday, June 6, 2022.
