Hazardous Waste Collection Sept. 10
It’s time for citizens to clean out barns, basements, sheds, garages, storage areas under kitchen sinks, and properly discard potentially toxic/dangerous materials. St. Mary’s County residents wishing to safely dispose of household hazardous waste materials will once again have an opportunity to do so. The St. Andrew’s Landfill will host a hazardous waste collection Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste
St. Mary’s County residents can properly dispose of potentially toxic materials at a Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 between 8 am and 4:30 pm at the county landfill on St Andrews Church Road.
Document Shredding Offered at Landfill
The St. Mary’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation will host its second annual community document shredding event at the St. Andrew’s Landfill on St. Andrew’s Church Road from 8 am to noon Saturday, Aug. 20.
