Museum Sites Waive Fees Saturday for Military Members
On Armed Forces Day, May 18, St. Clement’s Island Museum and Piney Point Lighthouse Museum will offer active duty and retired members of the military free regular admission to the museums during normal operating hours, 10 am to 5 pm.

For the fourth year, The Newtowne Players will perform its “A Night on Broadway: Sight, Sound and Song” show. The show runs from May 10-19.
GM Pool Will Close for Maintenance
The Great Mills Swimming Pool will close for seasonal maintenance Friday, May 10, through Friday, May 24. During this time, the pool’s air supported dome structure will be removed, converting the pool to an outdoor facility. Other seasonal maintenance and staff training also will take place while the pool is closed.
Luncheon Will Celebrate St. Mary’s Centenarians
St. Mary’s County will honor county residents who will be 100 or older this year at a May 22 Centenarians Luncheon.
