Leadership Southern Maryland has announced its 35-member Executive Program Class of 2024.
CH-53K Moving Toward Entry Into Service
The US Marine Corps’ CH-53K King Stallion program is preparing for its first deployment in 2025. The heavy lift helicopter recently also recently went through its second set of sea trials. The Corps continues to execute the transition from the CH-53E to the CH-53K and is on schedule to declare full operational capability in FY2029.

Cricchi New NAWCAD Executive Director
Stephen E. Cricchi is the new civilian executive director at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Patuxent River, MD, headquarters.
Still Time to Register for NAWCAD Industry Day
The Patuxent Partnership and the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division have opened registration for the next NAWCAD Industry Day to be held April 20, 2021. The virtual program will be offered from 9 am to noon.
NAWCAD’s Science & Tech Innovators
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division recognized its 2020 leading scientific and technical innovators on April 7. Also honored were NAWCAD employees granted patents by the US Patent and Trademark Office for their inventions in 2019.
