Cricchi New NAVAIR Deputy Commander
Steve Cricchi has been named the new deputy commander of the Naval Air Systems Command. He replaces NAVAIR Deputy Commander Tom Rudowsky who retired March 2.
Students Can Apply for NAWCAD Workshop
The 2026 Functional Areas of Business summer workshop will be offered at NAS Patuxent River from June 22 to 25 for rising high school juniors, seniors, and 2026 high school graduates to explore a variety of business disciplines supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

Calling all rising high school juniors and seniors. NAWCAD will offer Southern Maryland students a free summer workshop to help prep them for the American workforce. The application process has been extended to Friday, March 14, 2025.
