The Calvert–St. Mary’s Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold a public meeting from 3 to 7pm March 5, 2024, at the Lexington Park Library, to discuss the Long-Range Transportation Plan and Transportation Improvement Program.
Citizen Input Sought on C-SMMPO Transportation Plan
The Calvert – St. Mary’s Metropolitan Planning Organization, the designated policy board that administers the transportation planning process in designated areas of Calvert and St. Mary’s County, is updating the Long-Range Transportation Plan and Transportation Improvement Program.
Complete Streets Workshops Planned
The Calvert-St. Mary’s Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold virtual workshops April 21 and 22 to introduce the Complete Streets Plan project and gather feedback from the community.
New F-35 Deal a ‘Historic Milestone’
The DoD-Lockheed Martin deal for hundreds of new F-35s will drive the cost per airplane below $80 million for the first time. It’s being called a “historic milestone.”
Comment Still Sought on Regional Transportation Plan
The public comment period will close Feb. 22, 2016, on a long-range regional transportation plan for the Lexington Park region extending as far south as St. Mary’s City and north as the Chesapeake Ranch Estates.
