Vendors Sought for Bluegrass for Hospice
Bluegrass for Hospice-2017 is seeking vendors for this year’s event. The concert will be held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at the Flat Iron Farm in Great Mills, Maryland. The event will run from noon until 8 pm and will feature bluegrass music all day with door prizes and a silent auction. Interested vendors may request a vendor application by calling 301-737-3004.

CSM Main Stage Season Begins
The fall theater season has begun at the College of Southern Maryland Main Stage. Presentations of “The Voice of the Prairie” started this week, and will continue at 8 pm Sept. 29 and 2 pm Sept. 30 at the college’s Fine Arts Building on the La Plata Campus.
‘Young Frankenstein’ Opens in Lexington Park

Voices of Maryland Women Heard at Forum
Two women’s groups are working together to make sure the issues faced by Maryland women are given their due consideration. The Maryland Commission for Women and the St. Mary’s County Commission for Women are working together to create the Voices of Maryland Women Forum from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, in Leonardtown.
