NASA’s biggest test flight of the year is set to launch this morning. At 8:30 am EDT today, Monday, the Artemis 1 mission, an ambitious flight to the moon by NASA’s most powerful rocket ever — the Space Launch System — will head into space.

Defense revenues of the top 100 defense companies climbed for a sixth consecutive year. Fiscal 2021 defense revenue for the Top 100 list totaled $595 billion, up nearly 8% from last year.

Dan Ensminger, a NAVAIR engineer from Naval Air Station Patuxent River, has used his enthusiasm for engineering and program acquisition experience to lead 29 local youth robotics teams over the past 14 years.
The Patuxent Partnership was honored for its contributions to apprenticeships in the state by the Maryland Department of Labor.
