For TPP, ‘Another Fantastic SPARK!’ Career Fair
More than 700 students from 17 schools participated in the third annual SPARK! Student Career Awareness Fair on March 13. The career fair is part of The Patuxent Partnership’s SoMD 2030 workforce development initiative, funded by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aviation Division.
SoMD 2030 Supports AI & STEM Summer Camps
The A. James Clark School of Engineering of the University of Maryland at College Park will hold two free summer camp programs at the University System of Maryland at Southern MD. The camps are made possible with financial support from The Patuxent Partnership’s SoMD 2030 workforce initiative.
SBIR/STTR Topic Launch Set Dec. 11
There is still time to register for the 25.1/A NAVAIR Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer Topic Launch to be held 9am to 4pm December 11, in conjunction with the Southern Maryland Tech Bridge.
NAS Pax, DoD to Present MIRR Final Report
There will be a presentation of the St. Mary’s County and NAS Pax River Military Installation Resilience Review final report at noon December 3 the Lexington Park Library at 21677 FDR Blvd. in Lexington Park.

TPP Wraps Up 2024 Summer Internship Program
The Patuxent Partnership wrapped up its 2024 summer internship program. Forty-three college interns completed eight-week internships as part of the SoMD 2030 Workforce Development initiative.
Another Success for Spark! Career Fair’s 2nd Year

Year in Review Highlights TPP’s Annual Meeting
The “filled to capacity” annual meeting of The Patuxent Partnership opened with greetings from Bonnie Green, TPP executive director, and Doug Belvin, board president, who welcomed the board’s new members. Attendees were provided a year in review of TPP’s successful programs, engagements, and community support.
