March ’23 Report: Job Growth Continues
The monthly US Labor Department jobs report shows the country’s steady economic recovery and growth continued in March, Rep. Steny H. Hoyer said, with 236,000 jobs added and an unemployment rate of 3.5% – near its lowest point in more than a half century.

The latest jobs report shows that 373,000 jobs were created across the US in June 2022, in line with the past several months of strong growth, while employment in the private sector has surpassed its pre-pandemic level. “[The July 8] jobs report demonstrates that our economic recovery is continuing at a steady pace,” said Rep. Loan Program Expanded for Small Businesses
