Free open houses are offered at the African American Schoolhouse in Drayden one Saturday a month from 11am to 2pm. Dates include: August 5, September 2, and October 7, 2023.

All ages are invited to enjoy new outdoor activities while visiting the US Colored Troops Interpretive Center in Lexington Park, St. Clement’s Island in Colton’s Point, and Piney Point Lighthouse in Piney Point on the second Saturday of the month throughout the year.

New Exhibits Greet Visitors to Lighthouse
Piney Point Lighthouse Museum in Piney Point has reopened its galleries, including a variety of new exhibits, to visitors with pre-purchased tickets. The museum has been closed since March due to COVID-19 shutdowns.
