The Willows Recreation Center is set to open this summer in Lexington Park. WRC is the first and only full service indoor recreation center in St. Mary’s County.

The St. Mary’s Planning Commission, on behalf of the St. Mary’s County commissioners, will conduct a public hearing to receive public testimony about the Willows Road Business Park at 6:30 pm May 14. The meeting will be held in the commissioners meeting room in the Chesapeake Building at 41770 Baldridge St. in Leonardtown.

Rogers Drive will be extended from Missouri Avenue in Colony Square to Willows Road. The St. Mary’s County Commissioners recently signed a contract with the St. Mary’s Community Development Corporation (CDC) to design and construct the extension.
