Lex Park ArtsPark Stalls, Festival Canceled

The St. Mary’s County Community Development Corporation has canceled its 2019 Cherry Blossom Festival and put its plans for a Lexington Park ArtsPark on hold after conditions changed regarding long-anticipated funding.

Pax & Forrest Center Plant Rotary Trees

A community effort involving NAS Pax River, the Forrest Center’s natural resources students, and Lexington Park Rotary added 20 new cherry trees to the Lexington Park ArtsPark, home of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

Cherry Blossoms! Just in Time for Festival

The cherry blossoms are in bloom and just in time for the second annual Lexington Park Cherry Blossom Festival on Sunday, April 8, 2018. The festival is free and opens at noon with the Great Mills High School Hornets Marching Band and opening remarks by CAPT Jason Hammond, commanding officer of Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
