NAS Pax Issues Noise Advisory for Solomons
Communities surrounding the NAS Pax River are advised that there are plans to make a single low-level pass of Solomons Island with 10 jets flying in formation. The event is scheduled to take place Friday, March 25, 2022, between noon and 1 pm.
PA, WV Area Noise Advisory March 14-30
Naval Air Station Pax River is alerting residents of the Letterkenny, PA, and Berkeley Springs, WV, area that nighttime flights are scheduled to take place in the vicinity of those communities from March 14 – March 30, 2022.
DoD Forbids Use of CBD Products by Service Members
As each military service has been rolling out its own policy regarding hemp-derived products like cannabidiol, or CBD, DoD issued this warning: “It’s completely forbidden for use by any service member in any of the services at this point of time.”
F-35B Makes First Sloped Landings
The F-35B is taking to the skies over Bogue, North Carolina. The short-takeoff-and-vertical-landing fighter is scheduled to continue sloped surface vertical-landing tests through late February 2018.
