Starting May 3, hours at the St. Mary’s County Library branches will change. The new expanded hours will be 9 am to 8 pm Monday through Thursday and 9 am to 5 pm Friday and Saturday. The libraries will be closed on Sundays.

St. Mary’s County Library announces a limited public opening March 8 when customers may again browse the collection and use public computers, copiers, and fax machines. Precautions will be in place.

St. Mary’s County Public Schools and St. Mary’s County Library are launching new student library cards called St. Mary’s Access to Research & Technology, or SMART cards. The cards offer access to all of the library’s online resources.
