St. Mary’s Library Temporarily Reduces Services

St. Mary’s County Library reduces services due to COVID-19. Curbside will continue as it has been operating. Buildings will be closed to the public starting Friday, November 13. Plans to open the Library buildings by appointment only for computer, copier, or fax machine use will start Monday, November 16.

Blackjacks Team Conducts Testing of MV-22 Osprey

Pilots and engineers from Air Test and Evaluation Squadron HX-21 recently joined colleagues from other Navy and Marine Corps commands to conduct MV-22 Osprey landing and ship compatibility tests aboard the USS New York.

The new library mobile app includes a self-checkout function for customers to check out materials as they browse, adding convenience and decreasing touch points within the Library for customers who wish to avoid the self-checkout machines or staff interactions due to COVID-19 concerns.

Spring Ridge MS to Have School-Based Health Center

St. Mary’s County’s first school-based health centers are under construction at Spring Ridge Middle School in Lexington Park and Margaret Brent Middle School in Helen. They will launch with certain services by December 2020.
