Annmarie Gears Up for ArtsFest
Artists, vendors, families, volunteers, performers, and many more will converge on Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Art Center on Sept. 17 and 18, 2016, for ArtsFest, the finest art festival in Southern Maryland. The event is open from 10 am to 5 pm each day, and admission is $6 for adults, free for children 11 and younger, and free for members. No pets are allowed at ArtsFest.

Hoyer Requests Veterans Clinic Update
Congressman Steny H. Hoyer helped secure funding for a replacement veterans community-based outpatient clinic in Charlotte Hall that was set to open in 2013, but has yet to open its doors. The congressman has sent a letter to Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald asking for a specific plan and timeline for when Southern Maryland veterans can expect the clinic to open.
