On Sept. 21, the Healthy St. Mary’s Partnership, supported by MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, will host a special session of the 2017 HSMP annual meeting on the Maryland opioid crisis.

The Patuxent Partnership wants young professionals in the region to #Connect. The organization will host a social and networking event from 4:30 to 6:30 pm Thursday, Aug. 10, 2017, at its office at 22335 Exploration Drive in Lexington Park.
Golf Classic Funds Scholarships, Programs
It’s time for the region’s golfers to get ready for the College of Southern Maryland Foundation’s 26th Annual Golf Classic. The tournament is set for Aug. 10 at Swan Point Yacht and Country Club in Issue. During its first 25 years, the event has raised more than $770,000 for scholarships and CSM programs, plus it features prizes, raffles and three meals.
