Sonja Cox New Chair of CSM Trustees
SMECO’s President and CEO Sonja Cox is the new chair of the College of Southern Maryland Board of Trustees. Christy Lombardi will serve as vice chair, and Shawn Coates, is the board’s immediate past chair.
SMECO Board Voting Ends Aug. 13
Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative 2025 annual meeting notices and ballots have been mailed to customers. The election will close August 13, 2025, at 4:30pm EST. In accordance with SMECO bylaws, there will be no on-site voting at the meeting Aug. 20.
