Telehealth booths have opened at the Lexington Park and Charlotte Hall libraries to provide private spaces with internet access for community members to reserve and use for virtual health care visits.

Volunteers Ready to Read to Children of Frontline Heroes

A new Reading for St. Mary’s Heroes initiative honors the service of frontline and essential workers of the COVID-19 pandemic, including health care providers, public health professionals, law enforcement, emergency medical services, firefighters, public works, teachers, grocery store workers, and others.

Rotary Helps Create Mindful Meadow Program

The Leonardtown Rotary Club has partnered with the Greenwell Foundation to create a new Mindful Meadow program.

Part of the ConnectED Library initiative, the goal of the challenge is to ensure every kindergarten through Grade 12 student across St. Mary’s County has a library card and knows how to use it to access learning resources available  at the public libraries.
