SMECO 75 Bike Ride Benefits Wounded Warrior Project
Profits from the Co-op’s annual bike ride are donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Last year, SMECO employees raised $35,760 through the bike ride and a golf tournament.
SMECO Awards College Scholarships
Each year, SMECO awards four $1,500 college scholarships to students in the Co-op’s service area. Jabrena Milburn from Lexington Park, MD is among this year’s recipients.
