1st SMECO EV Charging Station Opens

Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative opened its first EV Recharge public charging station for electric vehicles at the St. Mary’s County Public Library and Garvey Activity Senior Center on Hayden Farm Lane in Leonardtown. The station has 24-hour access.

Apply Now for Help With Your Electric Bill

The Maryland Public Service Commission has authorized utilities to resume sending termination notices beginning October 1 and to resume disconnecting service as of November 15. If you need help to pay your electric bill, SMECO wants to help.
