Juneteenth Festival Planned June 16
For the 15th year, the Unified Committee for Afro-American Contributions will offer its annual Juneteenth Festival to celebrate African-American heritage in St. Mary’s County. The free event is set for noon to 8 pm June 16, 2018, at John G. Lancaster Park in Lexington Park.
Juneteenth Celebration Set June 17
St. Mary’s County will celebrate Juneteenth at John G. Lancaster Park in Lexington Park on June 17, 2017. This family-friendly event includes a 5K run/walk starting at 8 am, a festival from noon to 8 pm, and vendors throughout the day.
