Vendors Sought for Buy Local Celebration

The Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission is seeking vendors for the 2023 Buy Local Challenge Celebration, a farmers market-style event showcasing Maryland farms and producers of Maryland grown and produced products, and regional artisans. Applications are due by May 31.

Airport Set to Host Next Farmers Market

Historic Sotterley will hold a farmers market at the St. Mary’s County Regional Airport from 9 am to 1 pm Sunday, October 25, 2020. The popular market will feature fresh and local food and products in a place where visitors of all ages can see airplanes and future aviators take to the skies.

 St. Mary’s County Airport holds its last summer farmers market for the season: Sept. 6, 2020, from  9 am-1 pm. Come out in the fresh air, buy some healthy produce and watch the airplanes fly!
