Sheriff Warns of ‘Spoofing’ Phone Scam
St. Mary’s County residents are being warned about recent phone scams in which callers impersonate deputies and demand money for supposed warrants. The scammers use caller ID spoofing to make it appear that the calls are coming from the county sheriff’s office.
Sotterley Plans Day of Unity Celebration
