Work Planned on Mattapany Road
Roadway improvements will begin on or about September 29, 2025, on Mattapany Road beginning from Route 5 (Point Lookout Road) extending just past St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
Hilton Run Bridge Replacement Begins
The Maryland State Highway Administration is beginning construction on a $6.8 million replacement of the MD 5 (Point Lookout Road) bridge over Hilton Run south of Great Mills. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
