Vendors Line Up for Taste of St. Mary’s Sept. 28

The Taste of St. Mary’s will be held Saturday, September 28, from 1 to 4pm on the Square in Leonardtown.

Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative is a sponsor and will join more than a dozen community supporters of the St. Mary’s Chamber of Commerce event.

The rain-or-shine event invites foodies to “join us for a delightful journey through the vibrant flavors of our region at the annual Taste of St. Mary’s. Local restaurants, food trucks, and specialty food and beverage businesses come together to showcase the delectable dishes that capture the essence of our diverse food scene,” according to the chamber website.

Some of the vendors will include Bon AppéSweet/Better Black Coffee, Old Towne Pub Wing Wagon, Chief’s Bar and Grill, Puerto Rican Café, California Crumbl Cookie, The Rex, Dunkin’ Donuts, Salted Scoop, The Greene Turtle, Scratch Mobile Kitchen, Jamaican Grill, Tia’s Cantina Mexican Kitchen, Kneaded Baking Co., Tobacco Barn Distillery, Leonardtown Rotary, Ruddy Duck, N&N Oriental Market, Your Dog’s Bakery, and Nicoletti’s.

Samples of local food and beverage specialties will be available for purchase. There will be free entertainment and children’s activities.

Admission and parking are free. Chance to win gift certificates from area restaurants and caterers.
