St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office has launched Citizen Connect, an interactive, map-centric portal that enables the community to view and analyze public safety trends in their area.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office invites the community to a town hall meeting January 27, 2025, on gun violence in the area. The event will take place at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department in Lexington Park.

Be the Coolest. Make the Splash

4 Complete Crisis Intervention Training

Warning to Local Motorists: Slow Down!

Law enforcement has issued a warning to St. Mary’s County motorists: Slow Down! Speeding, distracted driving, and aggressive driving have been identified as contributing factors in many of this year’s crashes.

Steering Wheel Locks at District 4 Station

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office has collaborated with Hyundai and Kia, who have donated steering wheel locks to help citizens take that extra step toward safety. The steering wheel locks will be available for pickup, free of charge, to residents at the District 4 station in Lexington Park.
