The St. Mary’s County Board of Elections reminds residents of upcoming dates and resources related to the 2026 Primary Election and is notifying the public of an updated date for the pre-Election Day mail-in ballot canvass. The ballot canvass, previously announced for June 1, has been rescheduled to 9am Friday, June 5.

Early Voting in Maryland Begins Oct. 24

Early voting in the 2024 Presidential General Election begins in Maryland today, October 24, and continues until October 31. Voting centers will be open 7am to 8pm each day.

Elections Board to Demo Ballot Scanner

A logic and accuracy demonstration on the DS200 ballot scanner unit will be conducted at 10am Friday, October 11, 2024, for the 2024 Presidential General Election at the St. Mary’s Board of Elections office at 23250 Hollywood Road in Leonardtown.
