During March, Women’s History Month, Rep. Steny H. Hoyer honors the courage and resolve of the women who worked tirelessly to secure the right to vote and ratify the 19th Amendment to the Constitution just over a century ago.

Congressman Steny H. Hoyer announced that the 40th annual Black History Month celebration will go virtual this year. It will take place at 10 am Feb. 27, 2021, and Vice President Kamala Harris will be the keynote speaker. The theme of this year’s celebration is “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity.”
