WARM — “Wrapping Arms Round Many” — is a winter emergency sheltering program for the homeless in St. Mary’s County, and is in need of volunteers to help with registration and van drivers.

Walden Behavioral Health has canceled its annual fundraiser scheduled for Friday, Sept. 29. Walden is urging supporters to support either the official charities set up to support hurricane recovery efforts or to support local homelessness through Three Oaks Center in Lexington Park.

Three Oaks Center in Lexington Park relies on the generosity of its supporters. The center’s need for financial and volunteer support is never-ending. The Harvest Ball and Live Auction on Oct. 13 is a great way for the public to help Three Oaks. The fundraiser will be held at Old Breton Inn in Leonardtown. The event will feature auctioneer Dan Raley.
Sponsors and golfers are being sought for the Three Oaks Center annual benefit golf tournament to be held from 11 am to 3 pm Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the Breton Bay Golf and Country Club in Leonardtown, Maryland.
