Registration for College of Southern Maryland’s Kids’ & Teen College is now open. This is the largest summer camp program in Southern Maryland and has options for children 5 to 14.
Child Care Professional Development Funding Available
Paula Sorrells has been a child care professional in Southern Maryland for many years, and she has always wanted to earn a degree in the field she loves. The Port Tobacco resident was able to accomplish this goal with the assistance of a grant that the state makes available to child care providers.

The college’s Institutional Equity and Diversity Office will host a documentary screening and discussion of “13th” and a visit by Jimmy Bland, a baseball hall of famer and veteran, who will share his experiences in the Negro League and the US Army.
Author Archer Kicks Off CSM Connections
Author Michael Archer will kick off the College of Southern Maryland’s Spring Connections Series on Feb. 17 at the Leonardtown Campus. He will read from his works and speak about his experiences at 7:30 pm.
Learn About Dual Enrollment at CSM
Parents of high school students are invited to attend the College of Southern Maryland’s Dual Enrollment Parent Nights coming up the next few weeks. Each of the college’s three campuses will offer a Parent Night.
Winter Driving Tips Offered

‘Selvage’ Exhibit Features Work of Jim Arendt
