The Pentagon is abandoning its efforts to develop a next-generation adaptive engine for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, going instead for an upgrade to the current F-35 engine — a major win for F135 maker Pratt & Whitney.

Aerial Refueling Collision: F35 Crashes

A Marine KC-130 and F-35 collided in California attempting an aerial refueling. The pilot of the F-35B safely ejected from the plane. The KC-130J was able to safely land with all crew members reported safe.
