A Marine KC-130 and F-35 collided in California attempting an aerial refueling. The pilot of the F-35B safely ejected from the plane. The KC-130J was able to safely land with all crew members reported safe.

Turkey continues its offensive into northeast Syria to push US-backed Kurdish forces away from its border in the wake of President Donald Trump’s announcement of US troop withdrawal from the area. Trump called the Turkish offensive “a bad idea.”
